A sister is the one who makes life easier to live,
Whom you can share your likes and dislikes with,
She is the one who tells us her vast secrets and feelings
And asks us to do the same,
And has the rights to know all our friends' name.
She makes us feel comfortable when we are sad,
She guides us the right way when we are bad,
She is more than any word can tell,
She holds us when we tend to fall.
She comes to know our problems through our eyes,
She is of course naughty but wise,
She is my life's sunrise.

Last little things

It's just two short weeks away ... here's some last minute things:

These little (or big) flowers are really BIG right now ... check this out for cute ideas (click HERE)

Cute huh? If you want to make those, you'll need; 1/4 yard of synthetic fabric for each color (ORGANZA, TAFFETA, CHIFFON, TULLE all work, check here"special occasion"), you'll be able to make about 2-3 flowers from your 1/4 yard, the more colors you have the pretty the flower. The rolled rose (pink) can be any fabric you want. You'll also need a small piece of felt for the backing and matching thread (I have a lot of thread, but if you get a weird color, get thread) and last, something for the middle, buttons work great. If you want to make it a headband, bring the band too. Did that make sense?     Recap:

1/4 yard fabric in several colors
felt for back
matching thread if strange color
buttons or jewels for middle
some type of headband

For the card making, bring a pack of blank cards & envelopes (white or cream work best). You can buy small packs at Michael's or Hobby Lobby, both have a  40% off coupon this week.

All-righty then ... see you in two weeks! I'll be wearing FANCY PANTS!
